Meet Govan (Van) T. Myers, a partner in the South Carolina law firm of Blackwell Trimnal Myers, LLC and an integral member of the legal community in and around Lancaster, Rock Hill, and Fort Mill.

As a native of Lancaster County, Van has a deep fondness for South Carolina and the incredible people that make this state such a treasured place. He currently resides in Indian Land with his family and assists the community by providing unparalleled service in a variety of areas of law.

Van achieved his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wofford College and completed his law education at St. Thomas School of Law in Miami, Florida. After graduating with honors, he returned to South Carolina to begin practice. He participates in many organizations including the Lancaster County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the South Carolina Bar Association. He dedicates his time to several civic groups, including the Lancaster County Community Foundation, Care Net, the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce, and the Indian Land Rescue Squad. He currently serves as Chairman of the Indian Land Council and an adjunct Commercial Law professor for the University of South Carolina, Lancaster Campus.
